Springing forward to ascend upward

Organizational Retrospective

As Ascend GW’s FY17 comes to a close, the passionate leadership team has spent much of the Spring season renewing and refining the organization’s goals to bring more value to its members, the community, and corporate partners. Part of that strategy is to align the programming and initiatives to both growing market needs and personal career goals which is a big reason we expanded our Corporate Sponsorship committee. Providing relevant resources for professionals at every level to develop their leadership skills and advance within their respective industries are at the center of the refined strategy. Committee Highlight

Corporate Sponsorship – Hemant Shah, Jeannette Chu, & Wendy Chan

To meet our growing needs, Ascend GW has expanded the Corporate Sponsorship committee to three dedicated senior leaders who work towards engaging prominent businesses and corporations to provide them the opportunity to support rising Pan-Asian leaders through the sponsorship of local events while gaining access to Ascend’s resources like the Corporate Executive Leadership Program.

It is through these partnerships that our members can learn about and build relationships with industry experts and executives, from start-ups to large corporations, in both the public and private sectors. In return for their gracious support, the committee actively maintains these relationships with our sponsors at Ascend events ensuring that they receive the benefit of publicity and exposure to the area’s talented pool of Pan-Asian leaders.
